Mary Jo Shepherd

Mary Jo Shepherd is a professor of public policy at UNC-Charlotte and chairs the platform committee for the North Carolina GOP. She has experience in the private sector, serving as business manager for Maersk Group and Sea-Land Service. Shepherd earned her BA in political science and government from UNC-Charlotte, her MA in international relations from Baylor University, and her doctorate in public policy from UNC-Charlotte.
