Karen Hawkins

Karen Hawkins is a social studies teacher at Woods Charter School and a private tutor. She is a former social studies teacher for Wake County Public Schools and Voyager Academy High School, and was an adjunct faculty member at Campbell University, NC State University, and UNC-Greensboro. Hawkins earned her BA and MA in history from NC State University, and her doctorate in history from UNC-Greensboro.
