Derek Skinner

Derek Skinner is the market president for South Charlotte and Union County BB&T. He has served several other roles within the organization, including as a commercial banker, sales & service officer, portfolio manager, and business services officer. Skinner also has experience working for various higher education and foundational nonprofits. He earned his BS and MBA from Wingate University, where he served as director of marketing and programs at the Jesse Helms Center.
