Dane Scalise

Dane Scalise is General Counsel for Griffin-Estep Benefit Group. He also owns and operates ILM Lawyers. From 2016-2020, he served as Deputy Commissioner of the North Carolina Industrial Commission. Scalise serves on the board of directors for several non-profit organizations, including Wilmington Downtown, Inc. and the New Hanover County Bar Association. He obtained a B.A. in English and History from UNC Greensboro and a J.D. from UNC-Chapel Hill’s law school.
