André Béliveau is the strategic projects and government affairs manager at the John Locke Foundation. Previously, André served as a policy advisor in the North Carolina Senate and as a legislative assistant for Sen. Paul Newton. He also served as the Vice-President of the NC Log Cabin Republicans and as Deputy Policy Director of the NC Young Republicans. Before working in public policy and politics, André served in emergency services as a firefighter, EMT, and dispatcher in upstate New York. He graduated with a B.A. in history from Marist College and is an M.A. in government candidate at The Johns Hopkins University.
