Alan Swart

Alan Swart is a master backslider at Backslider Gear and a relationship manager at Heartland Payment Systems. He is the former Latino community services coordinator for Smart Start New Hanover County, founder and owner of Folks Cafe, and salesman for Piedmont Engineering Corp. A former Peace Corps volunteer addressing small business development in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, Swart graduated from UNC-Wilmington’s Belk College of Business with a BA in business and from Winthrop University with an MBA.
